Description
Petit Brebis d’Argental- a soft sheep’s milk cheese produced in the Lyon area (France). It is made in the form of a small round wheel from 100% pasteurized sheep’s milk. The cheese gets its ultra-soft texture thanks to a special milk filtration technology.
Petit Brebis d’Argental is characterized by a very subtle, mild, and clean flavor. The cheese is covered in a thin, edible white mold rind, and its consistency becomes increasingly creamy as it matures.
It pairs perfectly with fresh white bread, light plain crackers, dried fruits (especially dried apricots), and honey.
White wines with good acidity or light sparkling wines are excellent matches for its rich and buttery texture.
The cheese is featured in the exclusive “Création Argental” line from Fromi, which brings together soft cheeses made from different types of milk, all characterized by a rich, creamy, and flavorful profile.
