Description
Crottin d’Antan is a traditional French goat’s milk cheese in a small cylindrical shape. It is produced by Fromagerie Poitou Chèvre in the Poitou-Charentes region using ancestral recipes.
The cheese features a thin wrinkled rind with natural noble mould and a firm, crumbly texture. The flavour is clean and milky with a light tang that develops into nutty and woody notes as it matures. It pairs perfectly with white wines such as Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé.
Its quality is recognized by gold medals at Mondial du Fromage and Concours Général Agricole.
Awards:
* Mondial du Fromage 2023 – Tours, France – GOLD
* Concours Général Agricole 2024 – Paris, France – GOLD
* Mondial du Fromage 2025 – Tours, France – GOLD
