Description
Tomme de Brebis Capitoul is a semi-firm cheese made from pasteurized sheep’s milk. It comes from the Pyrenees region of France, using the same milk as Roquefort cheese.
The cheese has a smooth, firm texture and a natural rind. Its flavor is mild and buttery, with subtle nutty notes, making it approachable for those new to sheep’s milk cheeses.
The cheese works well on cheese boards and as a snack, and it pairs perfectly with saucisson sec (dry-cured sausage) and white wines.
