Pecorino Cacio e Pere is an Italian semi-hard sheep’s milk cheese with added pieces of pear.
The cheese has an unusual taste: the delicate sweetness of the pear harmoniously complements the natural flavor of the sheep’s milk.
This cheese is perfect for serving at the end of a meal and also pairs beautifully with honey or walnuts. It goes well with light white wines with fruity notes, such as Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay.
